Option 1: Make a dishwasher powder
This is a quick, easy and super effective way to wash your dishes - not to mention super cheap compared to store bought options. This can also be used in the sink for hand washing or for degreasing pots and pans.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup (250g) Washing soda
- 1 cup (250g) Sodium Percarbonate
TOOLS
- Mixing bowl
- Measuring Cup
- Airtight container for storage
MAKES
500g which is approx. 20 loads
INSTRUCTIONS
Simply mix equal parts washing soda and percarbonate, store in an airtight container and you are done!
HOW MUCH TO USE
Add 1 tablespoon (25g) directly in the detergent compartment of your dishwasher

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup Washing soda
- 1/2 cup Sodium Percarbonate
- 1-2 tablespoons Coconut Soap Flakes
- Approx. 20ml water

- Ice cube tray
- Airtight container for storage
MAKES
Approx. 12-16 tablets based on a standard ice cube tray
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl taking care not the breathe the raised dust.
2. Add the essential oil drops and slowly add water to the mixture until it resembles wet sand.
3. Press the mixture firmly into ice cube trays or a silicone mould of your choice.
4, Leave the mixture to dry for at least 24 hours or until hard.
5. Pop the tablets out of the mould and store them in an airtight container.
